Meet a scent for the after hours. Adlan's Midnight Oil candle opens with the glow of vanilla flower and amber mist, deepening into leather and patchouli, finished with sandalwood, serene, intoxicating, and made to fill a room with quiet intensity.

The Ritual:
- First Burn: The first burn defines the life of the candle. Light your candle and allow the wax to melt fully to the edges before extinguishing. This establishes an even surface and prevents tunneling over time.
- Wick Etiquette: Trim to approximately 1/4 of an inch before each lighting. A shorter wick ensures a steady flame and preserves the integrity of the fragrance.
- Burn Ritual: Burn with intention, not excess. Three to four hours at a time is ideal. Fragrance is released gradually, settling into a lasting presence, best experienced after approximately 20 minutes.
- Honor the Flame: Avoid drafts, open windows, or high-traffic areas. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from anything that should not meet flame.
- Extinguish: Extinguish with care. Snuff your candle out rather than blow. It reduces unwanted smoke and helps to prevent wick drift or carbon buildup.
- Reset Ritual: Reset between burns. While the wax is still soft, gently center the wick and clear any debris. This subtle act shapes the burn that follows. Be mindful while caring for your candle, as its vessel may be warm to the touch.
- End is Near: Recognize the final burn. Discontinue use when only 1/5 of an inch of wax remains, or the metal wick sustainer is visible. All good things must come to an end.
- Rebirth: A new life begins. Your vessel can be cleaned with warm water and soap. Store something precious inside, plant something, or admire its form as a decorative element for years to come.

Candle care for the candle connoisseur: A well-crafted candle asks for very little, yet rewards attention. Burn with intention on a heat-resistant and stable surface. A tray or trivet is recommended to protect the surface beneath.
