Warren’s Closeknit Pocket Tee in Off White takes the most familiar piece in your closet and makes it feel a little more special. It took over a year to develop, starting with the fabric: a soft but substantial 5.5 oz organic cotton jersey created just for this shirt with a sixth-generation, family-run knitting mill in Massachusetts. The mill has been knitting in New England since the 1800s, which is a lot of years to get very good at something.

From there, the fabric travels just 25 miles to a small sew shop outside Boston, run by someone with more than 40 years in the apparel industry. For the Off White colorway, the natural cotton goes through a gentle shade-reduction process using hydrogen peroxide rather than chlorine bleach, which lightens and softens the fabric without taking it all the way to an optical white. Every step, from knitting to sewing to garment dyeing, happens right in New England.
