This vitamin C balm provides a potent treatment to plump fine lines, repair hyperpigmentation and revive the skin barrier — all while inciting the ultimate glow.

Its thick, creamy blend of highly concentrated organic plant butters and oils revitalizes sensitive, dry skin; using phytoceramides to help strengthen the skin and improve buoyancy. Alongside those oils are a team of skin-repairing antioxidants, a phytonutrient infusion, and active botanicals working hard to even tone and texture. In the summer, we love this balm to repair from sun exposure, whereas in winter it provides a great protective barrier against harsh cold, wind, and dryness. Many Apoterra fans also love this balm as an eye cream or lip treatment.

Use as a balm facial cleanser: Massage the balm onto dry skin as you would an oil cleanser. Add water and continue massaging. Remove with a damp face cloth.
Use as a a reparative spot treatment: Apply from head to toe on scrapes, rashes and stubborn dry spots.
Note: Sea buckthorn oil is a magical oil, but it’s deep orange hue can stain fabrics (not skin!). We recommend letting this balm sink in for at least 15 minutes before going to bed.

Contraindication: If you have a thyroid condition in which you must avoid all iodine rich ingredients/products, we recommend discussing with your primary health physician and starting with a sample to patch test the product as sea buckthorn oil is naturally rich in iodine.

How to Use

Use as a face balm/moisturizer: Massage a small amount of this nutrient-dense balm into the skin after cleansing and misting. Apply morning and/or night. Adding it to your routine in the morning will provide a protective barrier for your day (hello elements!), whereas you might choose to apply it before bed to focus on repair and rejuvenation while you sleep.
